Winter 2005-2006 The holiday season is apon us and so is winter. Myself and everyone at BRE Racing wish all of our supporters and fans of modified racing a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy Holiday Season. The Inaguaral Whelen Modified Season came to an end last Friday night at the annual awards banquet at Mohegan Sun Casino. Tony Hirschman and his race team were crowned champions and very deserving so. There were many deserving awards giving out to drivers and owners as well as supporters of the tour week in and week out. BRE Racing driver Eric Beers picked up the 5th place driver award in the point standings and is very optimistic about the 2006 season again as driver of Ole Blue. The hard working crew has already been busy in the shop preparing for next season. Peter Caron ( Crew Chief ), Scott Richards ( Shop Foreman ), Greg Fournier ( car chief ) have had the whole crew cleaning, organizing and repairing cars from the long 2005 season. The team is shooting for the championship next season, as well as every other team on the tour. The guys know that hard work and being prepared as well as alot of Luck is the key to winning. There were no major announcements at the banquet, and all the teams have to wait patiently for the 2006 whelen modified tour schedule. Thank you again to all that cheer for Ole Blue #3 and have a great Holiday Season and Make a New Years Resolution to get out to the track more to see some of the best racing in the country.
